Weathermaster® has been Shading New Zealand for 60 years and Frazerhurst has been your local supplier for nearly 40 years.
The concept of an awning has been around since Captain John Smith in 1624 stated that the sloping canvas roof used for shade protection should be called as awning (allegedly).
As technology progresses so do the ways the humble awning has been made better, stronger and easier to use.
Let’s look at the options available for this summer.
Ultimo Full cassette Awning.
A fully automated awning.
The Ultimo will protect you and your furnishings from the harsh New Zealand sun at the touch of a button. The fully Automated Operation extends the folding arms from a fully enclosed Cassette that presents a clean fascia when the Awning is not in use.
The Ultimo Awning is custom made for each installation and comes with a range of projection options. ‘Projection’ describes how far the awning extends and the Ultimo is available with 2m, 2.5m, 3m or 3.5m. You can also choose from a huge range of fabric colours and designs, all manufactured from water-repellent, marine-grade 100% acrylic with a UPF rating of 50+.
Kona Awning series.
With five styles to choose from, spanning widths up to seven metres and offering a massive four-metre depth, they are perfect for decks, balconies, shops, restaurants and more.
The Kona Folding Arm range of awnings has been engineered to meet stringent quality standards, whether you choose the Semi-Cassette style with its stylishly clean fascia or the unique Cross-Over style for maximum projection from the narrowest of awnings. Plus, the entire range benefits from thorough wind performance testing to meet European 13651 wind classification standards.
The Kona Series is covered by our comprehensive 5 Year Warranty.
Alpha Pivot Arm Awning.
This system is a heavy-duty contemporary design ideal for larger windows.
The Weathermaster® Alpha Pivot Arm Awning projects the fabric off the window, with the arms and fabric forming a canopy that allows air to flow behind the Awning and for windows to be open whilst the Awning is projected.
