“Our project at Waipu which incorporated the Motorisation of horizontal blinds with remote controller was adopted for ease of use and also no need for manual control cables. Also, less chance of breakage that could be caused by people unfamiliar with the blinds. I.e. rolling the wrong way. Children unable to play with blinds without the controller adds further protection from indiscriminate use.

Our home had full height windows and sliding doors in all rooms, alongside some narrow feature windows, so getting the right solution was important for us – in both form and function. We chose motorised blinds for two main reasons, firstly their ease and convenience, and secondly to avoid flapping pull chains especially as we have large stacking sliders and did not want pull chains in the way when they are opened up. We had our motorised blinds installed two years ago. They have worked extremely well apart from a readjustment and also a factory motor recall.”
